Yes, long title but this events deserves it! Lulu’s Bat Mitzvah was an amazing affair. This was a one of a kind event for us. We had the pleasure of working with Terri Bergman to create unique art pieces to compliment our wonderful client’s vision. Terri is an amazing planner and worked really hard to put all this together making it look easy. John Farr Lighting did a magnificent job with colored lights in the museum. It brought it all together. Glyde made sure everyone was dancing and having tons of fun. We work with them often ad we are always in awe of their very energetic dancers! Well Dunn Catering served some of the most delicious food we’ve had in a long time. Needless to say, our client was satisfied! I want to thank Robin and Roger. Without them this would have not been possible. Thank you both so much for allowing us to be very creative and letting us do what we do best. Lulu, thank you for being so patient with us through the whole process. I know it was not easy, you were amazing. I’m looking forward in making a one of a kind album for you. Thank you from the FotoBriceno team. Enjoy!
no comments My beautiful mother passed away in February 19th of 2012. She died quickly and almost painlessly. She died at home. She was only 68. This was to all of us (brother, sisters and friends) very unexpected. We had plans with her. She was traveling to Las Vegas with mys sisters and we were planning a trip to DC so she could see her younger grandchildren. She had 5 children, 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. She lived her life on her own terms. She was kind, loving, generous (to a fault), happy and always ready to help anyone in need. She was a great role model. She touched many lives and loved many people. And many more loved her as well. She loved the ocean, walks on the beach, the theater, Reggae music and writing. And collecting shells on the beach was a favorite pastime of hers. She was also a script writer and movie producer. She lived a full life. I owe her a lot… I miss her a lot… On Friday February 17th, the last time I spoke to her, I was able to tell her that I loved her very much and I was not sure why at the time but I asked to please forgive me if I ever did something she did not approve of. She thought I was crazy and laughed about it. I was just happy to talk to her and hear her laugh. She was very happy about her upcoming trip to Vegas. We spoke in length about her coming to DC to visit, see my children and how much fun we would have. How much she would enjoy seeing them again. We ended our conversation the same way we always did, I love you mom… I’ll see you soon… Her ashes will rest at the bottom of the ocean in one of her favorite spots. I love you mom… I’ll see you soon…

That you traveled not only to her home but to the bottom of the ocean to lay her ashes there where she would want them says a lot about you and your brothers’ and sisters’ love for her. Thank you for staying tuned!! no comments Wow! What a day, what a wedding, what a great couple! We had lots of fun photographing Michelle & Dave on their wedding day. It was a gorgeous afternoon and beautiful sunset (after we missed the rain of course!). Thank you Michelle and Dave for choosing us to be a part of your day, we really enjoyed it, all the way to 2 AM!. Heartfelt thank you to Michele Hodges and Diane Schmid from Michele Hodges Events. Michele made sure all the vendors were on the same page, and as usual she makes it look easy. (Which we know is not). We LOVE working with Michele and Diane because they make our job so much easier and enjoyable. They make the client happy and calm and everything goes very smoothly. Thank you Michele and Diane! The team at the Mandarin Hotel lead by Dominic Sanchez was amazing. No only for the family and guests but they were great with us too. They made sure everything was dry and (very) pretty after the morning rain and they took great care of ALL of us during the event. Thank you Dominic for helping me with everything, from the room to shoot the ceremony from to those very large group photos at night. You were awesome! I do want to thank all the vendors personally. The beautiful flowers from “Edge Floral”, the amazing lighting from “John Farr Lighting”, Which I though it rocked… The delicious cake from my good friend Kendall from “Kendall’s Cakes“, the great make up artists and hair dresser Ouri Kandero, Nena Bartlett and Kathy Schultz, And our good friend and amazing videographer Tonya Davis from “Blue Sky Films“, which is a pleasure to work with each and every time… thank you, THANK YOU! We all make a great team. Let’s do this again some time… How about Saturday? And last but certainly not least, the most important people I want to thank is our wonderful client Mr. and Mrs. Saffan. Thank you for having us, without you nothing would have happened. And thank you for making us part of your family for one day. I’m looking forward in providing you with amazing memories for years to come, and to create a one of a kind album for you (and for Michelle too, of course). From the FotoBriceno team, thank you. Now… Please enjoy this small preview of things to come!
